Ah, Florida..

Not quite a sunset, but pretty all the same:

But this, on the other hand...

Sometimes you just need to get off the beaten trail:

Or go fast without moving at all..

It's hard work being gorgeous, isn't it?

And now, your moment of Zen:

I need to get out more often. More pictures!

They're baaaaaack...

And I'd begun to think that the Jehova's Witnesses had given up on me. Alas, that was too good to be true. This time a couple of new ones came by with their latest propaganda. They're definately comparing notes; they were trying to explain to me how science didn't conflict with Genesis, or at least "the Biblical days aren't the same as our days."

"Perfection is reached, not when there is no longer anything to add, but when there is no longer anything to take away."

-- Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Personally, I feel that the theory of evolution speaks far more highly of the so-called "intelligent designer" than the "everything was designed down to the last detail" theory, which, frankly, isn't particularly flattering. Which is more elegant; a self-perpetuating emergent system built on a handful of rules (such as weak atomic force), or the supposition that my cat cum ottoman was intelligently designed?
